Team Trisports athletes were in action over the weekend as far afield as Ipswich and Sheffield. Travelling to Ipswich, Mic Clark (pictured) and Keith Perry tackled their first mountain bike race in the Tunstall Forest round of the Mud Sweat and Gears Eastern MTB Series. Clark was an excellent 15th in the Open event covering the 3lap 24km technical course in 1:08:12 with Perry completing in 1:16:15 for 43rd.
Also in two wheeled action was Steffan Ford who competed in the first race of the Millennium TT Series in the Icknield 30k which he completed in 52:17. Round 2 is the Welwyn Hilly on Good Friday which will feature a number of Team Trisports riders.
Helen Shulver finally achieved a 5k PB in her 15th Sheffield Hallam Parkrun which she completed in 21:28 for 6th female and winner of the WV35 category. Also in PB form was Liz Wood who knocked 2 minutes of her previous best at the Regents Park 10k to finish in 49:31. Fiancée Tony Ward was 26th overall in a time of 39:46
