Team Trisports Mark Harris (pictured) celebrated the Jubilee Weekend with a remarkable debut at the marathon distance with a time of 2:54:23 for 3rd position overall in the inaugural Kent Road Runners Marathon. Taking place at the new Cyclopark venue in North West Kent, the race was over 17 laps of a purpose built cycle road racing track.

Mic Clark (pictured) was a superb 8th in the open race at Codham Park near Braintree which hosted the fourth round of the Mud, Sweat and Gears Eastern Mountain Bike race series. The tough technical course turned into a race of attrition with the Sunday jubilee weather and Clark took advantage of the conditions to record his best performance to date cementing a top ten position in the series with one race remaining. Keith Perry also completed the testing event to finish 27th.
On the road Adam Laycock was first home for the club with a 1:00:41 in the Hitchin Nomads 25 mile cycle time trial. Tony Shortland recorded a 1:10:38 with Mike Russell 1:13:09 and Darren Greene 1:16:54. Russell had also completed the mid-week Nomads 10 mile TT in a 28:26
Up north, Helen Shulver ran her 17th Parkrun at Sheffield Hallam to finish 4th women and first in age group in 22:03 and Graham Perry ran the Hatfield Broad Oak 10k in 49:12
