Team Trisports opened their defence of the Sunday League Cross Country Trophy with a strong performance across the board. The men were 2nd in both A and B Team competitions with Steve Harrison leading the men home with a 2nd overall.
Steve Metcalfe and Mark Harris were 2nd and 3rd for the mens A team in 11th and 14th overall.
The women were also 2nd in the A Team competition and winners of the B Team event. with Jo Ravenhill (pictured far left) leading the women home with 9th overall and Kate Turner (18th) and Kay Finch (24th) making up the top 3.
Team Trisports enter the 2nd round as joint leaders overall with St Albans Striders.
