Elite athlete Stephen Harrison secured a fantastic result at the weekend to finish 8th overall in elite race at the Toshiba Windsor Triathlon.
Held over the Olympic distance of 1.5k swim, 40km bike and 10km run, Harrison’s time of 1:54:27 was good enough to see him finish ahead of 2006 World Champion and Olympian Tim Don.
Rob Wilson was also in great form, this time at the Deva Olympic Triathlon, on Sunday and set a great time of 2:13:24 to finish 2nd in the M40-44 age-group and 13th overall out of 330 finishers.
Elsewhere, nine athletes from the club took on the Unity Cycling Club 25 Mile Time Trial.
Finishing first for the club in a time of 1:08:35 was veteran athlete Chris Priestley, followed by Tim Smith in 1:09:32 and Tony Shortland in 1:12:30.
Also competing were; Joel Farrow (1:12:38), Mike Russell (1:13:37), Naomi Woodland (1:14:40), Mark Beaver (1:15:38), Sophie Gore (1:16:50) and Anna Preistley (1:22:30).
The previous weekend, Helen Shulver took part in the Allerthorpe Sprint Triathlon and set a time of 1:12:44 over the race distance of 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run to finish 7th female athlete out of 61.
And finally, Tim Smith completed the Stevenage Wednesday Night TT in a time of 28:00.
