Team Trisports athlete Mark Harris finished a fantastic 18th overall at the inaugural St Neots Sprint Triathlon on Sunday. The race, which consisted of a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run, saw Harris stop the clock in a time of 1:21:05 to finish ahead of more than 100 other competitors.
Elsewhere, veteran athlete Brenda Bozwood-Davies was also in action for the Hitchin-based club at race one of the Eton Super Sprint Series. On a cold and windy day at Dorney Lakes, Brenda recorded a time of 1:34:28 for the 400m swim, 20km multi-lap bike and 5km run.
Sticking to just one sport, Rob Wilson raced the Manchester 5K Park Run on Saturday morning, along with 131 others, as part of his final preparations for Ironman Lanzarote this weekend and managed a course PB of 18:23 (previously 18:51) to take 8th place overall.
Turning to time trialling, Tim Smith raced the Stevenage 10 mile midweek TT in a time of 27:53 to finish in 6th place overall.
And finally, Rob Davies competed in the Ashwell 10m TT last Wednesday and finished 10th overall in a time of 28:44.
