The club saw one of its members honoured at the British Triathlon Annual Awards in Leicestershire at the weekend.
Veteran athlete Anna Priestley saw her season-long consistency pay off as she picked up an award for being the highest ranked female in the British Ranking Series Age Group 55-59 for duathlon.
Priestley’s award follows on from the bronze medals she gained at the European Duathlon Championship and British Championship and caps an impressive first season in duathlon.
On Friday night the club will be hosting its own awards evening, as it looks to recognise the various achievements of its members during the 2010 season.
