FVS TRI’s Brian White was 1st Vet 50 in the super tough Ballbuster Duathlon based around Boxhill in Surrey completing the 8 mile run, 24 mile bike and 8 mile run in 3:09:44 to finish 34th overall. Mike Utton finished in 3:27:40 (114th) and Jane Chappell recorded 3:33:28 for 143rd overall in her debut on the course. Robbie Laughton finished in 3:41:18 for 183rd with the rain and wet leaves making for a treacherous bike course in places.
Lynn and Richard Allen completed the multi terrain Grand Union Canal Half Marathon together in a time of 1:55:58. The course ran from Watford to Uxbridge and the excellent weather provided an ideal winter training event.
Intrepid Chris Suckling completed the Dorset Coastal Marathon in mud, mud and more mud in a time of 4:46!
